Sunday 16th August , Day 1 - Asalam alaikum!

  • – Arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport
  • – We’ll transfer to Simba Farm Lodge in West Kilimanjaro (all transfers are by air-conditioned mini-van or jeep)
  • – A brief stop to Mudio village to visit the Mudio Islamic Seminary School
  • – Welcome meeting and orientation
  • – Delicious dinner together, and then an early night to rest before our trek tomorrow!

Monday 17th August, Day 2 - Tour Mount Kilimanjaro!

  • – An early breakfast
  • – Transfer to Londorossi Gate to start our trek of Africa’s highest peak!
  • – We will explore the forest zone and the heather and moorland zone on a guided tour
  • – Enjoy a packed lunch with gorgeous views!
  • – After the trek, you can relax on a well-deserved ride back to Londorossi Gate
  • – Transfer to Silver Palm Hotel in Arusha

Tuesday 18th August, Day 3: Safari in Tarangire National Park!

  • – Delicious early breakfast
  • – Set off for the Tarangire National Park for a full-day game drive
  • – You’ll get the chance of seeing lions, elephants, zebras, and giraffe
  • – Picnic lunch on the go
  • – In the evening, we’ll head to the safari lodge where we will stay the night

Wednesday 19th August, Day 4: Safari in Tarangire National Park!

  • – Delicious early breakfast
  • – Set off for the Tarangire National Park for a full-day game drive
  • – You’ll get the chance of seeing lions, elephants, zebras, and giraffe
  • – Picnic lunch on the go
  • – In the evening, we’ll head to the safari lodge where we will stay the night

Thursday 20th August, Day 5: Serengeti National Park

  • – Delicious early breakfast
  • – We’ll set off for a full-day game drive through the world-famous Serengeti National Park
  • – We will explore the grassland, savannah, and riverine ecosystems, with the chance to see lots of the local wildlife
  • – At the end of this exciting day, we’ll settle into our tented safari accomodation
  • – We’ll round off the day with a traditional evening meal

Friday 21st August, Day 6 - Ngorongoro Conservation Area

  • – Tasty breakfast
  • – A drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where we will descend 600m into an ancient volcanic crater
  • – Here, we’ll explore the unique ecosystem abundant in wildlife, often called Africa’s Garden of Eden
  • – Enjoy a delicious picnic lunch in the incredible surroundings
  • – Head onto Marera Village Resort and settle in for the night
  • – Dinner together to round off an unforgettable day

Saturday 22nd August, Day 7 - Travel to Zanzibar!

  • – Nourishing breakfast
  • – We’ll head to Arusha Airport for our flight to Zanzibar
  • – Settle in at the Tembo Hotel
  • – Free time to explore the old town, stroll along the beaches, or visit the markets
  • – Group prayer at the local mosque for those available
  • – Dinner together and an early night

Sunday 23rd August, Day 8 - Explore Zanzibar!

  • – A delicious breakfast to start the day

Monday 24th August, Day 9 - A relaxing day in Zanzibar

  • – We start the day with a delicious breakfast
  • – Then, you have free time to explore the island or take part in optional activities
  • – You’ll have plenty of opportunity to soak up the rich Islamic heritage and culture of Zanzibar
  • – We round off our trip to Zanzibar with a dinner together next to the Indian Ocean

 

Tuesday 25th August, Day 10 - Explore Dar es Salaam

  • – Delicious breakfast
  • – Then, we’ll take the ferry for a breathtaking journey from Zanzibar to Dar es Salaam, the thriving capital of Tanzania
  • – We’ll check into our hotel and have lunch
  • – We’ll explore the historic downtown are and harbor front of Dar es Salaam
  • – An optional trip to Bagamoyo, an ancient trade port with a fascinating history
  • – On our last evening, we’ll dine at a local restaurant together

Wednesday 26th August, Day 11 - Time to say goodbye!

  • – We’ll enjoy a final breakfast together
  • – Time for shopping and more exploration in the morning
  • – Then, it’s time to say our goodbyes
  • – Transfer to Dar es Salaam airport to head home with unforgettable memories and new friends!
